So if you're an iPhone user ... or an iPhone maybe going to be a user ... what features do you find lacking? This poll lists a number of possible features; it might be interesting to see what the results are if the sample size gets large enough.
Personally, iChat is the most-glaring omission on my list, with syncable notes a close second and a true third-party application API as the third (as that would solve pretty much everything else on my list :) ).

GPS.
Tabs in Safari.
Bluetooth keyboard.
An "Overseas mode" that turns off all web access, but leaves the phone on.
Note and todo's (once I have real keyboard).
More storage. Hard disk?
I'd like to be able to open web page links in Safari in a new page.
I vote for the ability to disable all data features on the phone except voice and SMS. I travel to other countries and data roaming charges are outrageous. I would feel like I was in more control. Make it similar to the Airplane Mode but leaving voice and sms active.
How about a phone with nice features (i.e., iPhone) that does NOT have a camera (i.e., a phone I can bring to work). How frustrating is it to work in a field where security prevents bringing a phone with a camera to work. Which means it stays in the car. Which means that the battery lasts less than a year (cold kills batteries!). Argh! Feel like I live in the stone age because I work in a high tech field.
